Description
There were many large weathered antique clay flower pots around the center court of the Ringling Museum. I loved the mottled pots filled with blooming bougainvillea. Some plants were not as full as others. I have digitally altered the look of this to a watercolor and other artistic filters.
The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is the state art museum of Florida, located in Sarasota, Florida. It was established by the Ringlings n 1927 as their legacy for the people of Florida. Florida State University assumed governance of the Museum in 2000.
The museum encompasses many acres and includes lovely gardens along the Sarasota Bay. It offers twenty-one galleries of European paintings as well as Cypriot antiquities and Asian, American, and contemporary art.
