Old in Memory but Modern Copenhagen. As I grew up, Copenhagen was always something new and modern to me. I had cousins living there who were my age so it even felt like it must be a young city. After my visit this summer I was shocked to find an old Copenhagen! The city is so old, the building are hundreds or thousands of years old. The view was spectacular but brought about a melancholy that this antique processing of the image represents. This is not what I expected but this is what it felt like to be there. It is an old majestic city where there is not a road not under constructions and not a building with some kind of damage. Yet the city has young residents and the vitality is high. It felt like a clash of some sort between the architecture and the people.
