Description
I painted this from a photo of a shrimp boat (one of my favorite subjects) and made up the rest of it. I wanted a dark sky getting ready to pour down, typical of a hot, balmy Florida sky in the rainy season. The white is not paint, it’s the white paper underneath. Watercolor purists rarely use white. Instead they save the white paper by painting around it.
