Nimrods Castle in Northern Galilee, Israel. This majestic medieval ruin, the scene of many conflicts, is perched in the mountains, close to the Golan Heights. It is a monument of human government, ambition, and power. But its broken, crumbling walls also speak of transience.
Today there is peace, as donkeys, bathed in afternoon sunlight, graze on lush grass under a grove of ancient olive trees.
And the future? � though the area is filled with short term uncertainties, the Prince of Peace will soon come, establish His government, His peace will be lasting and the land will reflect His blessing.
