NIGHT ON MYSTIC RIVER

A mystical light orb shines on a pontoon dock in the Florida Everglades against the backdrop of a beautiful starry sky. Venus was still glowing in the sky and the night was young. It was cold and the skies were clear. It is on these nights that I like to venture out from the warm comfort of home and travel away from city lights. Those are nights when the sky comes alive with millions of twinkling stars whose light is ancient and reminds us that we are part of something greater than ourselves. Also if you click the full resolution preview on the area just left of the pontoon dock you'll see a pinpoint of light. That is the eyes of an alligator glowing in the dark reflecting the light from my floodlight.

This would also make a great companion piece for "Life Force" which was photographed at the same place although on a different night.
