This was aboard People Express Airlines back in the 1980's. Time surely flies! Please excuse the pun :) Flying over Elizabeth, NJ, the New Jersey Turnpike is visible below. Since the time of this photograph much of the area, especially to the right of the airport has been transformed. Ikea and a number of new complexes now occupy the vacant land seen here.
