This relic a silver plated basket from the Rex Ball favor from the ball of 1913 It is silver plated made in England. These favors were presented to guest from a crew member at the official formal balls. Mardi Gras is celebrated in New Orleans, Louisiana USA I inherited this Mardi Gras Favor, they are highly sought after by collectors, museums, they are very rare antiques from Mardi Gras.
