Description
This is a fractal that I designed, and I'm really happy with how all of the numbers (that go into the equation and such) created an elegantly-creative piece! I think what works here is the curvature, along with the infinite repetition, combined with the direction, complexity, and transparency of the colors. I selected brown, adding various tints and shades to this pelagic mollusc, as I wanted to represent an ancient nautilus that has seen life and serves as a solider of time, a reminder of the past and resiliency, while retaining a delicate, yet beautiful form.
