Nature's Hot Tub

Description
Very few hot pools in Yellowstone are safe for anyone to get into and this is definitely not one of them. Although this crystal clear water looks very inviting the water is actually close to the normal boiling point of 212 degrees fahrenheit. The deep blue color is caused by tiny organisms called thermoacidophiles, which are unique group of bacteria that that can live at that temperature, so while it may look inviting, heed the posted warnings and stay away.
