McDonald's Lodge, Glacier, is a gem itself since it reminds houses in Swiss Alps but a view it hides behind the building is breathtaking. Anyone who steps out to the lake involuntarily lowers their voice, up to the whisper or complete silence, because this place is a silence itself. It's serenity is almost sacred. You get carried into the realm of dreamy reflection while watching relaxed kayakers hardly disturbing the mirror of the lake surrounded by majestic mountains, sinking in the clouds.
