Description

This mixed media painting was inspired by the wonderful abstract landscapes of artists like Eric Warburton and Lewis Noble.

I painted the bare winter trees first, intending to do a winter landscape. I spied some paper torn from magazines and one with shades of purples and greys caught my eye. I also used paper from a photo of one of my own paintings to create this mountain landscape. It makes me think of huge boulders on the mountain side.
