This brilliant mountain sunrise landscape was originally created as an acrylic mixed media painting. The original was sold. The mountains were composed with various colors and textures of art papers embellished with paint. The sky was painted and the bright yellow sun was painted paper. This abstract mountain landscape could be the red rock mountains in the desert southwestern United States or the eastern Appalachian or Blue Ridge Mountains with the morning sun creating red tints to the high peaks with dark shadows cast below. Use your imagination to make this your own for your favorite mountain state from Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, California or Idaho to Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, or Pennsylvania.

This version has been created into a triptych.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
