For years, almost a decade in fact, I kayaked around remote areas in Maine and New Hampshire in hopes of seeing moose. I had a couple of brief encounters, but nothing like I experienced when in Allagash, Maine. I was there for a few days, so I kayaked each day until the moose in the area didn't seem to mind my close proximity. I am thrilled at the number of shots I was able to obtain despite the early hour and lack of sunlight. This bull moose was the most willing to provide me with great photo ops. I pray that when I go back, he is still around for me to visit again.
