My grand-daughter and I were waiting in the school pick up line to get her sister on a very cold drizzly winter day. We were enjoying watching the water droplets form on the sunroof window of my van. Of course, the longer we sat, the bigger those drops became, but each time we moved forward they would start rolling backwards. It was so fun to share the wonder of this very small thing in the world with both girls. Their eyes were wide open with delight watching bubbles form at red lights and then giggle and laugh as they were blown off by the wind rushing across as I accelerated.

I took some pictures of these drops and played in my own 'grown up' way with the image. When I got to this, it sent me into a whole new world of wonder. I thought of drops of mercury when I was a child and accidentally broke a thermometer (much to the annoyance of the nurse.) My mind just went on a childlike journey. What would rain look like out in space on a planet far away? What if it rained on the moon? Would it look like this?

Thank you, Wendy . . . this image makes me miss so much the days of taking care of my grand daughters & now we have to stay apart. We are so oblivious to the treasures in our life as we are enjoying them - even when we think we are aware of them! Here's to normal life & appreciating each moment!

Sunroof art! Your eye for all things wonderful is astounding. As always , your descriptions conjure up images in my mind exactly as described, can picture how excited the children must have been. You are teaching them young to appreciate to dream and expand their visions. I see the liquid mercury too...:-)
