This image was taken in Devils Tower National Monument, Wyoming. The tower is considered sacred by many Native Americans. One does feel a certain presence or atmosphere in its vicinity and the tower is a dominating presence on the landscape. Interestingly, the official name does not have an apostrophe in it. That's how it was recorded in official documents in the 1800's and so it remains.
