Description
This is Miss Pickup. She is a Consolidated PBY5A Catalina Flying Boat. Her role was in World War 2, but thanks to the Catalina Society, she is still airworthy and flying at airshows from her base at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, England; a place which has a strong airforce connection with American airmen.
