Congratulations on the sale. Very interesting to see someone else's vision of the Migraine Aura. Mine are jagged and bright as white light, no colors. They move around in a broken circle with my open eyes or closed eyes for about 20 minutes... then the searing pain for 12 hours or more. The good news is I had my gallbladder out and the pains stopped. I still get the Aura occasionally but it passes in a few minutes.

Thank you, everyone! I have had migraines but I'm lucky enough not to get them anymore. :) Diane, in 1991 or 92 an abstract expressionist painting in one of those migraine collections captured it so well I couldn't look at it, and I decided one day I'd do something optical so people who had never had a migraine could experience it physically on some level. I failed several times and gave up. I've done several other motion pieces since, but the migraine idea had slipped my mind until a friend painted a migraine aura this year so I gave it another shot.
