Description
Every February, one by one, a herd of life-size, sand-sculpted cows appears on Marco Island’s Tigertail Beach. The cows are the artistic creation of a dairy farmer who vacations on the island. He uses natural materials to bring the cows to life: the perfectly-shaped shells for eyes, hooves, ears; seaweed for tails; shell casings for hair (when called for!), etc. To everyone’s delight, each sculpture is given a humorous, sand-written, ”punny” title. For this one: “Sit a Spill.” A nice board bench was provided!
