The newly renovated Main Hall at Washington Union Station was revealed in May 2016. Gone is the Center Café and the indoor planters. The interior Main Hall is now unobstructed as originally designed. This image was digitally enhanced.

I've traveled via Amtrak to Washington Union Station for years, and I always stopped for lunch in the Main Hall. It was a surprised to see the cafes in the Main Hall removed. Once you walk out of the Main Hall there are various eateries upstairs and downstairs.
