Description
Little Long Pond is located in Acadia National Park and is part of the Rockefeller property. The Rockefeller's allowed the public to use the land for their dogs and for people riding their horses. Bicycles are strictly prohibited and there are plenty of signs to alert bicyclers of this very known fact. We, while walking on the path, and while riding our horse on the path, have told many people with their bikes to stop and walk their bikes. This walk is so beautiful and there are so many amazing things to see while on this walk, why would you want to ride your bikes? There are loons and herons nesting in the pond. Oh I just love this pond and cannot wait to go back!!
