I wasn’t planning to paint tonight but I had such an awesome scene presented to me on my walk with Lucky. I just had to try and capture the memory. The ray of light, the golden hill and the contrasting dark and orange rock sitting alone on the hill with the bits of grasses catching the light. Not a great work of art, just an alla prima memory of a fine winter’s walk on a brisk afternoon in the foothills with no one around for miles except Lucky and the Antelope.
