Proud green(ish) thumb here! I planted this luna hibiscus eight years ago and this year, for the first time, it bloomed! Ok, so that will teach me to trust a nursery that tells me they're hardy and will grow in Washington, but the dinner plate size flowers were worth the wait (well, technically it did grow every year...lots of leaves). They're big, but so delicate that the rain almost seems to soak through them, like paper.
