Description
I started with a photograph of two roses just opening, part of a bouquet our son brought over for Mother's Day. I composed the shot with the bud in the foreground framed in a round mirror hanging on the dining room wall. A little digital masking and filtering, and the addition of a textured overlay... and we have this soft and pretty piece, romantic, and with a bit of a vintage vibe. A pretty accent piece, and it's also proportioned to fit on the standard Pixels/FAA greeting card 5x7 format with no cropping.
