I had heard about these waterfalls through the internet grapevine, and I had seen images of it on various social network sites, so I decided to scout this location knowing it was only 1/2 hour from our house on the north shore of Canyon Lake...I knew it would take some healthy Summer rains to fill up Curry creek, so I figured I would find some water flowing after several days of thunderstorms dumping rain on the Texas Hill Country. The previous day to making this photograph we had deep blue skies without a single cloud, but on this particular day Sahara dust had invaded the atmosphere about Texas and made everything hazy. Thanks for looking! FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
