This is a photograph of two amazing and ancient tortoises. I have called the “Living Pods” because that is what they remind me of with their protective shells. I love the way they are close together as fitting together like a puzzle. Their shells are textured with ridges as is their old skin. I like the brown hues of their shells that match the ground underneath them.
