A pair of Lion Fish I saw at a trip to Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut. These interesting fish are actually venomous and originates in Indonesia. They are considered to be an invasive species along the eastern seaboard and the Caribbean yet are popular aquarium fish.
Their unique fins contain their venom and it is very toxic to humans and marine life. It is too beautiful to be so deadly!
An adult Lion Fish has few natural preditors.
