I knew a lake had to exist somewhere in the desert of Las Vegas. The was quite large and mostly a recreational area, but probably a water supply for the area.
A couple of bridges span this lake. The one you see here and another huge one with office atop. The water was clear. Palm trees grew everywhere, with several species of palms.
