Description
This female Rufous, although as fierce as her counterpart male, is jumpinig for joy - or at least it seems she is! Standing on top of a rose branch, she tilts her head back and stretches her wings back. It was a joy to watch her prance, dance, and move about as she protected her perch for a couple of days. In the background, is a palm tree with various patches of mottling of color on the trunk.
