Description
Stunning Jackson lake Shore in Wyoming with Mount Moran over its shoulder in fall. Amazing clear water and mountain reflections are fantastic scenery. The lake is the remnant of large glacial gouging from the neighboring Teton Range to the west and the Yellowstone Plateau to the north. The lake is primarily fed by the Snake River, which flows in from the north,The lake is up to 15 miles (24 km) long, 7 miles (11 km) wide and 438 ft (134 m) deep.16 species of fish are in the Teton Park. There are over 15 islands in the lake alone. There are no hiking trails on the western shore of the lake, because its hard to access unless you have a boat. Elk Island, the largest island in the lake and also the largest island in the state of Wyoming.
