This is my digital painting of a country lane with jacaranda trees blooming on both sides. I used the EDIT THIS APRIL 2021 image from Abbie Shores. I love the perspective and blank canvas. The trees were mostly bare from winter and the grassy areas were bare. I’ve been wanting to do a similar painting for a while and Abbie gave me the inspiration, thank you.

Thank you very much, Gary. Love the jacaranda's. I used to live in Mexico where these trees grew in abundance and when they bloomed, it was like living in a Disney movie. Purple leaves everywhere!

This is so awesome, Gary! It reminds me of Pretoria, here in South Africa, where the entire city has Jacaranda trees throughout. The streets become covered in purple snow when they are in bloom.
