Description
Probably most people never think of tall palm trees when they think of Texas. But if they've been to my part of Texas, they know better. I'm from Houston but have been going to Galveston routinely all my life. Before Hurricane Ike, it was covered up with palms and oleanders. Now only a f raction of those remain and this painting of a residential street show how sparse it is now. But they're still beautiful and they're still my Texas.
