This stunning photo of Jesus on the cross is outside St. Joseph Church in New Orleans, Louisiana, It was an extremely hot day and after visiting the interior of the Church, I walk around to the side and came upon this statue in a garden with rosses. As I looked up I was blinded by the light it was so bright the sun above and behind the statue. I barely could see the image on my Nikon rear image screen. When I viewed the image in teh shade, a flare was created from the bight intense sunlight across the faces of Jesus. This photo was taken with a Nikon 820 manual setting and macro zoom.
