It is well worth a short tram ride north of the historic centre of Gdansk to visit the charming suburb of Oliwa. With a striking cathedral, known for it's majestic organ and unique architecture, two fascinating museums and a magnificent park, it's the perfect place to get away from the city crowds and enjoy a pleasant and peaceful stroll in picturesque surroundings such as this pretty tree lined path. I blended a little texture with my original photograph to give this image a more impressionistic painterly style which I felt suited this enchanting Polish park scene.
