Years ago, I saw this valiant Banyon tree living in the middle of Dunne River falls and knew someday I would try to draw it. My interest was the tree itself clinging valiently to its rock in the middle of the river. I saw beauty, grace, and perserverance! I knew one day I would try to draw it, and in these turbulent times, it was a beautiful, strengthening, restful, peaceful place to spend the last month while I attempted this re-creation of all it said to me.
