I Swear It Was This Big

Description
This wood stork was wading in the pond behind my home and decided to tell me about the one that got away. It spread its wings as though to say "I swear, it was this big"! This image has text added as a humorous caption to the photograph. It was created for use as a poster or greeting card for no special occasion - just for fun. If you know a fishing enthusiast who sometimes exaggerates his or her exploits, this might be for them.
The wood stork is a large American wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae. It was formerly called the "wood ibis", though it is not an ibis. It is found in subtropical and tropical habitats in the Americas, including the Caribbean. They fly with their neck and legs outstretched but tend to perch with the neck drawn in, giving them a humpbacked appearance.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art. This image would be a good selection for business or corporate wall art and decor or in any home.
