HURRICANE MATTHEW
The approach of Hurricane Matthew photographed on Fort Lauderdale Beach as one of the first feeder bands approached. Luckily for us this Category 4 monster of a storm drifted east slightly which spared South Florida from the worst of the impact.
Hurricane Matthew scraped along the Florida coast eventually making landfall in South Carolina. Along the way Hurricane Matthew caused widespread destruction and dangerous storm surges in Daytona Beach, St. Augustine, and Jacksonville as well as the entire southeast coast.
