Description
Located on the shores of the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, Canada, the Hopewell Rocks, or the Flowerpot Rocks, are rock formations caused by tidal erosion, which stand 40–70 feet tall.
I visited them in 2005. They appear small but are not when standing beneath the arch formed by these two rocks. I was amazed how quickly the tide came in and submerged the bottom of the rocks. I've wanted to draw or paint them ever since.
Hopewell Rocks is a 9x12 on watercolor paper. Painted by Taphath Foose.
