Description
This is a basic view of Hoover Dam, the Visitor Center, the Hwy. 93 bypass bridge and the power grid leading away from the dam.. The dam holds back water from the Colorado River to generate electricity and forms Lake Mead in Nevada USA. Presently and since the early 2000's the water level has reached new lows. So low in fact that special turbines are being installed that can generate some power from the low flow. Water is a Precious Resource Please Conserve however you can. Read the Galley description for more insight.
