Description
a heavy fog advanced last week from the sea into Tel Aviv and covered the city. The center plaza in the photo is Kikar Hamedina plaza that was designed by the international architect Oscar Niemeyer
Tel Aviv has several major plazas and the best known are Rabin Square, Dizengoff Circle and HaMedina Square - translated into the State Square. The State Square presented in this photo was designed by the international architect Oscar Niemeyer.
Tel Aviv was founded in 1909 by a group of 66 jewish residents of Jaffa who envisaged a European style garden suburb, with wide streets and boulevards. A hundred years later, their vision has come alive.
The city of Tel Aviv is an open air museum exhibiting an impressive display of international style buildings and Bauhaus architecture.
Tel Aviv is the cultural and business hub of Israel and is an active city with lively entertainment, culture, art, fashion events, movie theaters, shopping malls, food festivals, a variety of cuisines and an attractive nightlife scene. As a result, Tel Aviv is sometimes called "The city that never stops" by tourists and locals alike.
The city high rise buildings form a beautiful skyline against the shore and the beautiful beaches are an ideal spot for vacationers and attract people from all around.

It looks like a tsunami. Your images are so recognizable as being yours. Your descriptions are wonderful and I appreciate the information. WOW
Ron Shoshani replied:
Thank you Margaret for you kind feedback. Well, it was not brutal as a tsunami, but more like a soft, beautiful and chilling fog arriving slowly and covering the city. It is super rare to have such fog here, and we had it for 4 days and then it vanished. exceptional phenomena.
