Grand Teton Cloud Stack

Description
Like a chimney with a smoke stack coming out of it, Grand Teton had a column of clouds that looked very similar. In this case, a glowing sunset illuminated the whole column with a gentle pink glow that looked really pretty. No doubt, this was one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen in the Tetons. Between the glowing clouds and the great location we took our workshop students to, they couldn't have been more pleased.
How I Got The Shot
While I didn't have the Pentax K1 for very long, I had it long enough to catch a few good images before I returned it. And while I did make the most of the time I had it, I have to give credit to the big 150-450mm lens for this shot. This is just a single exposure where I exposed to the right and then brought it back in post so I could get some great color.
