"GOLDEN AFTERNOON"
Photographed in Pike National Forest during a camping trip in the mountains. Finding beauty in simple scenes such as this is one of the things I love about photography. Photographing the obvious is one thing, but noticing things that are right under your nose (or feet) can be very rewarding as well. Even when there doesn't seem to be much to photograph in any given location, I find that taking a closer look will always reveal something.
