Description
I'm no geology expert but even I can tell the rocks of Godrevy on the north coast of Cornwall are special. They look like the have bubbled and burst, and layer upon layer of different kinds of rock have been stacked in haphazard formations which is really what happened at least 2,588,000 to 11,700 years ago.
They have been moulded and formed over a series of ice ages and Godrevy is considered to be one of the most important Pleistocene sites in the south west of England.
