Description
I SOLD the original to the highest bidder at Wall Ball 2017. The inspiration for this piece was color, line and movement. I am a huge fan of the Fauves. When I was in college, one of my instructors used to call me a Fauve, because of the many colors I used in my figure drawings. In this piece I wanted to convey the different ways light can change the mood of colors and how they can reflect on a person and their interior surroundings. i am very aware of how different lighting can have positive and negative effects. In this piece especially it was meant to be whimsical and fun. I like the energy of this piece. Casual, but with movement and a charming aura. The media is acrylic on stretched canvas. I scratched into the piece and reworked it to get the different color combinations and textured throughout the artwork.
