I've had a weird summer. I went to 3 funerals in June, then my mother died in September. Her death was quickly followed by the death of two good friends. Evidently change is coming, quickly. So, I started photographing various things that I have around the house. I make Baby's breath into trees and marbles into lakes and rivers. Most of my pieces have been called haunting and whimsical. I look at them as landscapes outside the realm of reality. So maybe "whimsical" fits ... to a certain extent. I hope you like them. -- Laurette 10/14/2017
