Description
This abstract design began as layers of different colors of paper. Over that, I applied gold leaf, then some fluid acrylic paints. I had in mind an abstract flower initially. Although this still can fit that vision, I now think more of the Big Bang or Genesis. A nuclear reaction, a catharsis, an explosion - you get the picture (hopefullly). This has been color-altered to a violet or purple tone from my original which was more gold toned. There is also a blue version. This would make a great decorative pillow, shower curtain or throw.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
