I have a pretty tremendous back log of images from May I need to get through and get posted... but last night checked off a big one on my list since I had moved up here a few years ago. I've have always wanted lightning and a dramatic storm over Gavin's Point Dam and a couple of the older bridges along the Missouri River. Here is a quick frame from last night, it was a rather wild experience when this shelf arrived and waves on the lake were crashing against and cresting the gates as lighting flashed in a turbulent sky above. Fun night on the Nebraska/ South Dakota border!
