A digital watercolor hand painted on the computer over an original photograph taken at one of the pineapple plantations in the village of Faja de Baixo in the island of Sao Miguel, in the Azores, Portugal. Some of the greenhouses where the pineapples are cultivated can be seen toward the right of the frame.

The base image is a photograph but the painting process is hand made, not just through filters, which means the final image could not be duplicated exactly the same. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!
