Thanks for your comments on my Stairwell photo! Love this vibrant butterfly, or as my kids would call them....flutterbys.

Thank you Paula. It was my intention to make this look a bit like stained glass. Glad you like it. :-D

Alive, sparkling, pin-pointedly delicate!

Thank you, Sue, for a nice commentary on my art, as a whole. As well you know, hand drawing takes a certain degree of skills, regardless of the method chosen by the artist. I still paint and draw on paper or canvas but not nearly as much as I used to. MS has taken its toll. But, I chose to look at the positive rather than the negative...I am still able to create art! :-D

I understand 'hand-drawn digital painting' because I like creating art that way, as well as by traditional pencil / pen on paper, or cutting out shapes from a variety of papers to create distinctive greeting cards. Sometimes I take a photo and find that my aim was a bit off; the challenge for me is to save it from the trash receptacle by drawing in and coloring the missing portion -- such as I did with a magnificent moth that was resting on a geranium plant on the front porch one morning. Your artistry is delightful... There is a brilliance inherent in your artwork, one that shows your enthusiasm for color and form.

Thank you Chip. That is exactly what I was trying for. One of these days I would like to learn stained glass work. We have several such artists here on FAA and their work is gorgeous! Thanks for the day brightener.

These colors are so vibrant. The wings remind me of light shining through stained glass windows. Excellent work!
