I found this beautiful pink, red, magenta wildflower in the soft light of a late afternoon walk in the Spring or early Summer around the nature area behind my house in Wisconsin. I'm not sure what kind of flower it is, but I believe it is a milkweed. The bees seem to really enjoy it.
I was immediately drawn to the beauty of the colors and the contrast between the pink of the blossoms and the green of the leaves in the background.
I only started taking macro or close-up, photographs of flowers as few months ago, and I am really enjoying it. Each day, the hope of new photos pulls me out to the park.
