Flowerpot In A Mexican Wall
Artist
David Perry Lawrence
Medium
Photograph - Giclee Photographic Print
Description
My wife and I lived in a small village in sunny Mexico for several years. This home, with a window cut high in its stone and stucco wall for the display of a flowerpot was just around the corner from our house. The bright colors, yellow, green, red, are so typical of this part of Mexico, Ajijic in the state of Jalisco, just south of Guadalajara. The Mexicon people love flowers, and love to display flowerpots. So many homes in our little village had pots in their windows. This one, in a well-to-do home was created as part of the architecture of the house. Just a little bit of beauty to share with the walkers-by.
